A Special Reserve Shiraz bottled when we find special parcels of fruit, or sometimes a golden barrel or two. We make this alongside our Barossa Deutsche Shiraz and using only fruit from the gnarled old vines of our Vine Vale vineyard.

Colour: Very deep garnet red Aroma.

Aroma: Blackberries, stewed plums and mocha are apparent on the nose.

Taste: Blackberries, stewed plums and mocha, pepper spice and fine grainy tannins.

Food: Best served decanted and rested for 2-3 hours. Try it with anything, but especially aged beef, or barbequed lamb.

Cellaring:  This wine is drinking well now, but careful cellaring will be rewarded.
