2020 Barossa Deutsche Shiraz
Using only fruit from the gnarled old vines of our Vine Vale vineyard, the 2020 Vintage was matured for 3 years in a blend of French and American oak. Blackberries, stewed plums and mocha are apparent on the nose, backed-up on the palate by pepper spice and fine grainy tannins. Elegant, full-bodied and smooth, this wine is beautifully consistent with earlier vintages and luscious example of a Barossa Shiraz. 2020 was the year the world changed, only small quantities of this vintage were produced. As per the 2019 Vintage, this wine was bottled under Stelvin.
Colour: Very deep garnet red Aroma.
Aroma: Blackberries, stewed plums and mocha are apparent on the nose.
