2019 Barossa Deutsche Shiraz
Using only fruit from the gnarled old vines of our Vine Vale vineyard, the 2019 Vintage was matured for 4 years in a blend of French and American oak. Blackberries, stewed plums and mocha are apparent on the nose, backed-up on the palate by pepper spice and fine grainy tannins. Elegant, full-bodied and smooth, this wine is beautifully consistent with earlier vintages and luscious example of a Barossa Shiraz. 2019 was a very low yielding vintage due to hot and dry summer conditions. Less than 100 dozen were produced. This wine was bottled under Stelvin..
Colour: Very deep garnet red Aroma.
